Ludus in Ludo

So in Latin, the word for "game" and "school" is the same.

Thursday is the day I am in two schools, one working, and one observing. The latin class I observe - the students don't know any grammar. I understand that it is boring, but you can't translate accurately if you can't identify what is the subject and what is the adverb.  So after class the teacher asked me if I liked the textbook, and I just commented that it didn't seem to teach grammar. I don't know, maybe I'm just spoiled by the fact that I got both methods - no grammar in high school and then tons of it in college.

In my class, I want to combine them so that students feel comfortable and confident.
