When I saw that headline on NYTimes.com, tears came to my eyes. Two years ago seems so long ago, but 2004 was a bleak year, with Bush winning the presidency and the Red Sox winning the world series. Now if only the Yankees had won the world series this year.
The articles i have been reading portray everyone as trying to work together, like Bush reaching out to Pelosi. However, I only read the liberal New York Times, so this could be optimistic propaganda.
The next election I will be out of college!
