The doldrums

In "The Phantom Tollbooth," the main character ends up the doldrums. In the doldrums, no one does anything and everyone is hopeless. Sidenote: This book is no longer in print.

I used to visit the doldrums fairly regularly. I sleep a lot, watch lots of tv on dvd and eat lots of sour patch kids. Eventually I reappear. So, when I moved back to the city, I stopped having the doldrums - it was like the ended after college. Instead, I had periods of happiness, where everything worked.

Unfortunately, here I am! The DOLDRUMS. So glad to be visiting again. It's so grey here. I am so glad to see everyone!
