One from the Archives

Here it goes. Opening the journal from senior year of college to a random page:

May 28, 2008 (Wednesday)

So at work we are welding. I learned how to weld. The scare thing is that if I screw it up, the carts fall apart!

So the carts took awhile and then D showed up for lunch. We ate lunch and then taped over battery terminals for an interminable amount of time. Apparently a house in VT caught fire because two batteries that weren't completely drained touched and sparked laundry. After lunch R and I did some cleaning up and set up the next base for welding. I left work at 3 pm but didn't leave the shop until 6 pm because I got sucked into helping D with his product design. It still not done - the prototype, which irritates me. So anyway, we finished an OK functionality video, got it to work, brainstormed about possible directions it could take.

Then I had a sugar crash. Honestly, can't function very well while hungry.

Jealous. I am not cool enough to know how to weld.
